At our school we provide a dynamic and engaging curriculum for students from Prep to Year 10. We have a focus on teaching to World 2 learners (hands on, experiential learning) while balancing this with World 3 learning (through the intellect, reading, writing). We are aligning the curriculum so that it reflects our commitment to agribusiness and this will be encompassed through all areas of the school. We have an extensive kitchen garden program which allows the students to be involved in growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing enjoyable and pleasurable fresh foods. The Prep students are engaged with the Early Years Curriculum . Students in Years 1 - 7 focus on each of the Key Learning Areas. Teachers across the school delivery a combination of stand alone or integrated units of work. Information and Communication Technologies are an embedded part of teaching and learning and assessment practices throughout our school. In Years 8 - 10 all students participate in english, maths, science and SOSE. The students then select fthree elective which include: Agribusiness, Industrial Technology and Design, Home Economics, Art, Computer Studies, Health and Physical Education and Business Education. Occasionally student select to study through the School of Distance Education if the school does not have the capacity to deliver a particular subject. Students in Years 8 - 10 participate in the Futures Education program which focus' on career preparedness. Through this program students may choose to participate in structured work place learning and perhaps move on the School Based Traineeships or Apprenticeships. All students across the school participate in the Smart Moves and Values Education program.
