Jandowae is a small community of approximately 800 permanent residents. The school provides educational services to students within the town and the surrounding farming properties. The school is fortunate to have a very support community which is reflected in the active P&C Association. The school itself is set in landscaped and attractively maintained grounds. In addition to the classroom areas, facilities include an extensive kitchen garden, specialist art, home economics, science and manual arts area. The school has two well resources computer labs and a community conference centre. The school also has recently re-developed multi purpose courts, cricket wickets and nets, a number of external play structures and shade areas spread throughout the school. Through the Building the Education Revolution program the school is soon to have a refurbished kitchen area with six cooking bays, an upgrade of the early years classrooms, an outdoor learning/dining area attached to the kitchen, a new llibrary and new agricultural science building. |
