The Jandowae P-10 State School P&C works in productive partnership with the school and community to promote the interests of the school, and facilitate its development and further improvement, to achieve the best possible outcomes for students. We strive to engage with the community and see the benefit of input from a diverse range of experiences. We especially encourage those new to the school to get involved as volunteering is a great way to meet people and make friends. By building our P&C social network and skills base, you can help maximise our school's potential.
In previous years Jandowae P-10 State School P&C has hosted community events such as a State of Origin night, a district youth disco and has also been involved in the Jandowae Timbertown Festival. The P&C also operates Tuckshop on a fortnightly basis and has funded improvements to the school including a bus shelter, shade cover to the Prep playground area and new appliances for the tuckshop.
Everyone is welcome to join in on P&C meetings and can apply to become a member. Membership is free.

Meetings
Our P&C meet one Monday each month at the Exchange Hotel, Jandowae. Meetings begin at 4.00pm. Our meetings are short and succinct and are an excellent way to keep informed about what’s happening within the school.
Our ”Just One Thing" initiative lists a variety of ways that you can contribute to improving our school. We understand that it can be daunting offering up your time, especially if you feel you may be obliged to do this regularly. Through ‘Just One Thing’ we hope to convey that even the smallest task, just one time in the year, will be appreciated and that’s all we will ever ask. Your small contributions can make a big difference to the school community and our events.
